Collaborative, Evidence-based Menopause Care
A specialty resource supporting both OB/Gyn and primary care clinicians caring for patients through the menopause transition

About the Practice

I am a board‑certified Family Medicine physician and Menopause Society member with focused expertise in caring for patients during perimenopause and menopause. My clinical approach is grounded in evidence‑based guidelines supported by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Menopause Society, with an emphasis on individualized, patient‑centered care.
My practice is designed to complement the excellent work already being done by OB/Gyn and primary care clinicians, offering focused menopause expertise when additional support, time, or counseling is helpful.

A Collaborative Approach to Care

Menopause care spans preventive health, symptom management, chronic disease considerations, and quality‑of‑life concerns—areas shared across OB/Gyn and primary care practice. My role is to serve as a specialty consultant, supporting you and your patients through collaborative co‑management.
-
You continue as the patient’s primary clinician
-
I provide menopause‑focused consultation and management as appropriate
-
Timely, clinically relevant communication is standard
-
Recommendations and findings are shared promptly to support continuity of care
Patients maintain their established relationship with you, and care is coordinated transparently and respectfully across specialties.

When a Menopause Referral May Be Helpful

Given the breadth and complexity of care managed across both OB/Gyn and primary care settings, having a trusted menopause specialist can be a valuable extension of your team. Referrals may be helpful for patients who:
-
Have persistent or complex menopausal symptoms
-
Have questions or concerns about hormone therapy
-
Desire more in‑depth counseling and shared decision‑making
-
Would benefit from longer, focused visits dedicated to menopause care
My goal is not to replace care already being provided, but to support you and your patients with additional expertise and time.

Practice Model & Insurance Considerations

My practice operates outside of traditional insurance billing. I work closely with patients to:
-
Utilize FSA/HSA funds when available
-
Leverage insurance benefits for laboratory testing and medications whenever possible
This model allows for comprehensive, guideline‑based care while minimizing administrative burden for both patients and referring clinicians.
